For the month of September the team at Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport and Holiday Inn Express are taking part in the IHG Giving for Good campaign. Each year our team choose a different charity to support and take part in various activities to support our community. So what does our September of 2024 look like:

Week 1- Sustainability

Litter pick up in our local park

Uniform donations to Work Equal and St Vincent de Paul Charity

Clothes donation from our team

Sustainability initiatives within our hotel

Week 2- Volunteering

We are delighted to be volunteering with Make a Wish at the Irish Open in Co.Down. Our management team will be on the road from 5:30am to travel to the event to shake buckets and volunteer at the event all proceeds on the day going to Make a Wish.

Week 3- Community

We are thrilled to welcome back for a 3rd year TLC nursing homes in our local area for a luncheon and raffle. We have previously held Bingo events and is a great way to meet the residents and their amazing carers and have an afternoon lunch and chat prepared and served by our team in the hotel.

Week 4- Bake for Wishes

The biggest and best event, where our team bake at home and in our kitchens and we showcase our delicious treats in the Pavilions S.C on September 27th at 12pm. This is our final event and a great way to fundraise money for Make a Wish. It is our third year holding this event and always a great success!
