CFL Crew at Battle Cancer Dublin 2024 - 15th June

Every year the CrossFit Leixlip Crew take on Battle Cancer Dublin to remember our friends and family who have been taken by Cancer or who are battling it or have battled it.

It's an event we love to be a part of as it raises awareness for Cancer Charities and also the Battle Cancer Program which is a special 12 week program offered to Cancer Patients post treatment to help Cancer victims recover from their treatment, by helping to rebuild lost muscle mass, and regain overall strength, fitness and mobility in a coach-led, community environment.

On Saturday June 15th 2024, CrossFit Leixlip will have 40 people taking part in Battle Cancer Dublin in the RDS and as part of that, we are raising money for the Irish Cancer Society to help support cancer patients and their families. Your support will help make a difference.

The Irish Cancer Society are working towards a future where nobody dies from cancer, and everyone affected by the disease will have access to world class treatment and support.

Cancer is the most common cause of death in Ireland with more than 9,000 people in Ireland dying each year. That's almost 25 people dying from cancer every day across Ireland. An average of 1 person every hour.
