Story
Specsavers is proud to have partnered with Crisis to support its much-needed work in removing the barriers that people experiencing homelessness can face accessing vital healthcare services.
Homeless Voices Research (October 2021) revealed that more than half of people experiencing homelessness have unaddressed issues with their vision. That's why we're proud to support Crisis this Christmas
Crisis already offers a range of healthcare services via its drop in centres and Specsavers will be supporting that and its other vital work through donations and volunteering by staff.
To help extend Crisis' healthcare offering, Specsavers also intends to run eye care clinics in five Crisis centres this Christmas, offering free eye tests and providing free glasses to those that need them.
As part of the Crisis at Christmas appeal, we're also giving our customers the option to donate via our Just Giving page links placed around our stores. All fundraising goes directly to Crisis.
Thank you for your support.
(Donating is completely optional for Specsavers customers)
