DUKES MEADOWS MASTERPLAN

Designed to enhance this beautiful region, including a vision for a Multi-sports Community Sports Hub at Riverside Lands.

This plan was paused/ceased at the very point the Boathouse was demolished – leaving the entire area without either sporting changing rooms or sufficient parking. Sadly, this situation is now in its third season.

CRFC’s passionate belief is:

· We are ALL fortunate to enjoy one of London’s most beautiful sporting areas

· This situation is not going to disappear of its own accord

· SPORT FOR ALL MUST BE FUN.

Rather than wait (and wait) for the Masterplan to recommence and other sports be catered for we have therefore created a solution for ALL.

· This Car Park facility is entirely self-funded by CRFC without assistance from any outside agency or sports club

· CRFC Members have contributed through donation and Club Membership to its existence

· We cannot afford it, yet it is patently, urgently required for ALL sports to enjoy the area.

Regardless of sport - Rugby, Football, Laser Tag or just visiting - we therefore politely request that - each visit - non-members contribute £5-£10 to our Parking Fund.

Whatever is possible will be received with thanks.
