The new football season will soon be upon us, and we can now confirm after much speculation, that there will be a 2024/25 Fantasy Premier League this season. After last year’s success, where we raised funds for our chosen charities of Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity and Mates in Mind, we have decided to go again.

This time we have the objective of raising far more and instead of splitting the funds, all our contributions will go to a sole charity. We believe this should ensure that the money is more effectively utilised.

This year’s chosen charity is Greenhouse Sports.

Our chosen charity for this season is Greenhouse Sports. We have chosen Greenhouse Sports because we believe that through the power of sports, young people from disadvantaged communities can develop a sense of self belief and responsibility whilst also learning to work collaboratively within a team. Regular participation in a wide variety of sports can also help to foster positive relationships, develop leadership skills, reduce antisocial behaviour, build mental toughness and transferable life skills. Skills which we believe are critical to everyday success.

Greenhouse Sports’ vision is that every child has a fair chance to succeed. It is their mission to deliver intensive sports coaching and mentoring to help develop young people from disadvantaged communities.

How to join?

Like last year, our fantasy football league will be open to not only our colleagues but also developers, partners and industry friends across our areas of operation. However, unlike last year, where entry to the league was free and a voluntary contribution was requested, this year we have implemented a mandatory entry fee that will be required before you can enter the league. This season we kindly request a donation of £5 or more to participate.

We’re based in Norwich, so, as Delia Smith once said…. let’s be ‘avin’ you!

Joining the ‘Create CE - Fundraiser 2024-25’ league couldn't be easier.

1. Pay your £5 entry fee via Just Giving

2. Leave a comment with your name and company*

2. You will then receive a thank you message containing the entry code

3. Build your team. You have £100m to select your team and bench.

4. Wait for Gameweek 1 - Friday 16th August

*Throughout the season we will be posting updates to our LinkedIn page and would like to tag individuals and companies participating.

The Just Giving page is open until Thursday 31st October. This is to account for the potential growth of the league.
