Story
Our mission at Cranswick Milton Keynes is to raise the living standards of our staff and the local community of Milton Keynes.
As a large employer it’s important that we use our scale for good, and through local charity partnerships we accelerate their ability to help more people.
Our primary partner is Unity MK (Previously named The Winter Night Shelter Milton Keynes), and this JustGiving page is dedicated to receiving donations for them all year round.
Our partnership with them allows us to help them in 3 ways:
- We fund raise for them and donate meat products to their café.
- We offer employment opportunities and volunteer time from our employees to their clients.
- We align ourselves to their strategy and to help to accelerate their objectives so they can achieve them quicker and on a larger scale.
“I was not aware of the scale of homelessness in Milton Keynes before we began our partnership with Unity MK, and it is humbling when you hear about the huge impact that this charity has on so many lives every year. I am immensely proud that since 2020 we have raised and donated over £100,000 to the Winter Night Shelter. Our commitment to them will continue and we will share all our successes both here and on our Facebook page.”
