Story
I’m doing the Forth Abseiling Challenge on October 8th to help raise awareness (and ultimately money!) for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
I’d ask all my friends, family, colleagues and comrades to give whatever they can afford, to help provide aid for a great charity, very close to my heart.
Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.
Cystic fibrosis comes with many challenges, affecting its sufferers daily lives. The CF Trust community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.
Again, if you’re keen to see me throw myself off the Forth Bridge, for a great cause, please give what you can afford.
