Story

I have decided that I am going to raise some sponsorship for the fabulous St Luke's Hospice Sheffield. The amazing Specialist Palliative Care Community staff helped care for my lovely mother-in-law (Chris Britland) in the comfort of her own home in the final few weeks that she was with us, allowing her daughters to share some cherished final moments with her.

The Coast-to-Coast in a Day bike ride on 22 June 2024. Seascale to Whitby 150 miles (242 kms) and 15,000ft (4500m) of climbing will, by far, be the toughest ride I have ever done. Starting in the mountainous Western Lake District (including Hardknott Pass and Wrynose Pass), through the Yorkshire Dales, across the flat Vale of York and finally the northern valleys of the North York Moors, finishing by the sea in Whitby (for fish and chips!).
