Fundraising for Multiple Sclerosis Society
We are taking on a family challenge during the Brighton Half Marathon weekend to raise funds for the MS Society. My youngest son, Lewis is taking part in the Youth race on Saturday 1st March; then I`m taking part in the Half-Marathon with my eldest son, Taylor on Sunday 2nd March.
Not only will it be a big challenge physically for us all, but it will also be emotional as we lost my Mum suddenly at the end of 2023 to Multiple Sclerosis. Mum had lived with the many progressive challenges which Multiple Sclerosis brings for many years prior to her passing. Right up until her passing though, she lived her life to the full, with a smile on her face and a generally positive and sunny outlook. As it is a progressive disease however, this became more and more challenging for her. As the disease progressed, her mobility declined; latterly she had to use a wheelchair, the challenges of which I am all too aware of. Her sudden passing shocked the family, but Lewis, Taylor and I are hoping that by completing our races we can make a small difference by raising funds for The MS Society.
The MS Society help fund world-leading research into Multiple Sclerosis, share the latest information, campaign, and generally support those living with MS.
I would really appreciate it if you could contribute whatever you can afford as a donation. Your support will go a long way to helping those living with the challenges of MS and help find a potential cure.
Please feel free to share this page with friends and family and thank you for all your support.
