Story
Its time again for the challenging Costa Charity bike ride 2023, where we will see a group of intrepid cyclists set off from Western Super Mare heading to the east coast and the Isle of Sheppey.
Saturday 30th September
Leave Weston Super Mare, Bracknell bound up and over the infamous Cheddar Gorge, heading east through the North Wessex Downs. Sadly, no time to enjoy its natural beauty pushing onwards to the overnight stop. This day sees the hard riding, with well over 6000ft of climbing and over 120 miles covered.
Sunday 1st October
Weary eyed departing Bracknell to beat the sunset over on the Isle of Sheppey. The riders head south of London ducking over and under the M25. By no means, a flat day in the saddle with plenty of road bridge elevation and Hills of Surrey to negotiate 2000 ft of elevation and another century of miles.
