Fundraising for Watson's Malawi Partnership
£545
raised of £350 target
As we prepare for the school's return to Malawi in October, we're raising money to support the work of our Malawian partners as they strive to alleviate poverty and give young people the future they deserve.

Story

Our names are Corinn and Iona and we are currently two pupils about to enter S6 at George Watson's College. We will both be going to Malawi with the school in October 2024 for two weeks. We will be doing many activities to raise money such as: the 7 hills, bake sales and car washes. We will be raising money to go towards the many families and children that face poverty to try and make a difference to their lives. You can read more about the work the school does with charities using the following link.

The Watson's Malawi Partnership aims to not only support charities and people in Malawi but also to listen and learn from their culture, life and experiences. We aim to support them in key areas of their lives including education through supporting teachers and pupils, health and wellbeing for example providing reusable sanitary pads made by Tina of Trinipads to support girls in continuing at school, sport and culture through providing football and netball kits and the environment by supporting reforestation programmes in Mulanje and Zomba.

We would love if you could help us!
