Story
Hello! I am back, back back again at the nexus of exercise and charitable fundraising 😀
Following a great success registering for the Peabody Community Foundation 5k Fun Run in May (ran the 10k anyway on an energy high on the day!) and smashing my fundraising target, now it’s time to turn my attention to another charity whose crucial work is deeply meaningful to me. This time, on inspiration from one of my most spirited colleague friends, I’ll be completing the Chiltern 50 Challenge on 28th September - a 50k (31 mile) hike through the beautiful Chiltern hills.
The mission of the Felix Project is simple - to take surplus food from their suppliers and deliver it to any charity that helps feed people. It's all nutritious and would otherwise go to waste. Not only that, but it helps fight food poverty and reduces costs for hardworking organisations.
Please if you’re able, could you consider chipping in £5/$5/€5, or perhaps more if the Felix Project’s work touches your heart as much as it does mine?
