After seeing a close friend recently go through brain tumour surgery, I’ve decided to raise some money for a charity of this man’s choice - Cancer Research Wales!

On Saturday 1st June, I will be running one mile, on the hour, for 24 hours.

Starting at 6pm, each time the clock strikes 12 I’ll be setting off for another mile, finishing on the Sunday at 6pm.

It’s not quite as inspiring or brave as what so many are going through, but in darkness and in sunshine I will get the miles in to show my support.

Finishing on 24 miles just wouldn’t seem right, so I’ll top up the last mile (to 3.2 miles) and complete the full marathon.
