Hi everybody,

On the 15th September I am taking part in the London to Brighton bike ride in memory of our gorgeous baby boy Luca, who was born sleeping.

Luca and Finley were identical twins, but sadly had Twin to Twin transfusion. Danielle and I decided to go forward with an operation that could potentially save them both, however unfortunately Luca did not survive.

Finley and Luca were born on March 27th 2024, with Finley being 11 weeks early. Finn spent 7 weeks in neo natal care, in an incubator. On the outside of his incubator a very special purple butterfly was placed. This butterfly was shown to everyone, so they knew that Finley had a twin brother, that Luca’s memory would live on. The cot card also made others aware of our journey.

The Skye High Foundation is a brilliant charity who helped Danielle and I immensely. It is a foundation to help families deal with the loss of a baby who was part of a multiple birth.

The money I raise will help them continue to help families and continue to send out packs to families and hospitals.
