Story

It’s time to rally behind our CT Incredibles again as they participate in the 2024 Super Hero Triathlon!

On August 17th, a group of Complex Trauma patients supported by therapy staff, will compete in the Superhero Triathlon 2024. This fun, fully accessible, and inclusive event is part of the UK’s only disability sport series. With three distances to choose from, our team will pair up with sidekicks for this extraordinary challenge.

**The Challenge:**

- **Sprint:** Swim 150m, Bike 3k, Push/run 1k

- **Half:** Swim 400m, Bike 10k, Push/run 2.5k

- **Full:** Swim 750m, Bike 20k, Push/run 5k

This marks the first sporting event our patients will engage in since their life-changing injuries. The Superhero Triathlon empowers individuals with disabilities to take part in a mass sporting event, highlighting their incredible strength and determination.

We are fundraising for the DMRC Benevolent Fund, a charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of those seriously injured while serving to protect us. Your sponsorship would be greatly appreciated and will serve as vital motivation during this challenging Triathlon.

About the charity

The DMRC Benevolent Fund purchases special goods and services for patients' rehabilitation, beyond that which is provided by the public purse. We create opportunities for patients to engage in social activities, which lets them forget about their injuries and rehabilitation for a few hours.
