In 2023, two colleagues from Valencia took on the challenge of cycling the 2000km from Ford Valencia Plant to Ford Merkenich Plant for charity.

This inspired a group of 5 colleagues from Product Development in Cologne-Merkenich to pick up the baton and continue the journey from Ford Cologne to the UK, planning to arrive at the Ford Dunton Campus.

The aim of the new edition is to inspire the Ford colleagues in the UK with this idea of a charity ride.

The almost 600km route is no easy task, but the team are determined and are looking forward to the challenge. The prospect of raising money for charity both in advance and along the way is the driving force behind their motivation.

Together they have agreed to fundraise for DAT KÖLSCHE HÄTZ in Germany and JDRF in the UK. Both charities are well supported by Ford employees in the respective countries.
