Story
Ripples Collective is a group of Palestinian and Israeli non-violent activists, artists, and heart-led humans working together in connection, strength and love to embody another possibility. They recently created a performance called Collective Liberation Ritual, and they now wish to continue developing it and take it on a tour.
The performance includes storytelling, dance, and music – and carries the audience through grief into solidarity and empowerment. It is a journey from separation to connection, feeling the collective pains to allow them to reveal a shared vision - away from systems of domination, so easily internalized. Together. Peace goes hand in hand with Liberation. Justice with Reconciliation.
Alchemising, with song, word, and movement, an alternative reality for the land and all its people.
The Collective brings together diverse voices for peace: Sulaiman Khatib (Palestinian peace activist from Ramallah), Haneen (Palestinian peace activist from Gaza/Portugal), Noam Enbar (Israeli singer/peace activist from Israel), Marwan Halabi (Palestinian singer-songwriter from Israel), Leor Roseman (Israeli researcher from United Kingdom - University of Exeter / Imperial College London), Ayelet Yekutiel (Israeli dance artist / somatic practitioner from Israel), and Rawan (Palestinian Diaspora Singer/Songwriter, Facilitator & Artivist based in Jordan).
Their first performance was created as an offering for Medicine Festival 2024. The depth of the process took them aback, and the relationship with the audience ignited their wish to continue sharing this performance. They hope to go on a tour in the summer of 2025, so are now fundraising to make this possible.
Why Your Support Matters:
The funding will go into developing the performance and initial funds required to produce a global tour. It will cover expenses such as travel from our different locations, accommodation to continue our process and rehearse, and seed fund for production and more.
The performance will empower communities towards peace and collective liberation; and give a voice to a network of peace seekers we are part of.
Donation:
The donation will go to our fiscal sponsor - Reconsider (Chakana Media), a US-based 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization
