Story
Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page in support of Air Ambulance Charity Kent Surrey Sussex (KSS).
My daughter Aimee was killed in a car accident on 28 March 2022. The Kent Surrey Sussex Air Ambulance attended the accident and did all they could for my beautiful girl. My wife Wendy, daughter Mollie and I met with the amazing crew and the charity’s Chief Executive David and they gave us great comfort that Aimee was looked after in her final moments. We will never forget this and we have resolved as a family to do what we can to raise money for them.
The average cost of each call out is £3,945 and this is what I hope to raise by cycling from their base in Redhill to their helipad in Rochester.
KSS is an independent charity. It costs over £15.2M a year to sustain their world-leading, cutting edge, innovative service and amazingly 86% is donated and raised by the people of Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Your donation means KSS can continue to provide the best care at the worst of times for their patients, and stay at the forefront of pre-hospital critical care.
