Story
I am taking part in the Cemex Wellness Week in aid of Sense, a charity that believes that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.
Some of the complex disabilities that they offer support for are Neurofibromatosis, Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.
Their experts offer personalised support through their centres, holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. They are here for everyone who needs them, for as long as they need them – providing early intervention for children, helping young people access education, and supporting the transition into adulthood and beyond.
To support the charity, I shall be joining a team of Cemex colleagues cycling from our offices in Stockton on Tees to Southampton. This is a five day challenge averaging over 80 miles per day. For my part, I shall be riding over 250 miles between Buxton and Southampton. Please give generously.
Thank you for your donation (no matter how big or small) and for your support.
