Epilepsy Scotland works with people living with epilepsy to ensure that their voice is heard. Around 58,000 people in Scotland live with epilepsy and we are here for anyone with this common serious neurological condition, their families, carers and employers.

People may or may not know that my husband david has epilepsy. Our world was shook on the 21st of October 2017 when he took a seizure while driving. Thankfully he was OK and nobody else was affected. However due to the seizure everything was ripped away from him. His driving licence, his independence and his job.

The support I myself and david recieved from epilepsy Scotland was phenomenal. Being new to this and unsure of how to support david I reached out to epilepsy Scotland on more than one occasion.

The work they do is endless and the charity means so much to me!
