Story
Our fabulous Year 13 students, supported by the Sixth Form tutor team, embarked on an epic journey last half term to cover 2,660 miles either through walking, running or cycling in the four weeks leading up to the start of their A level exams - 2660 being the number of school days that they have done since they each started school in reception. The aim of the challenge was to highlight the importance of their own physical and mental health in the run up to their external examinations. To match their challenge Mrs Regan, Pastoral Lead for Year 12 and 13 has decided to embark on one final challenge before she leaves Cockermouth School and teaching this summer by walking 32 miles ( a mile for every year she has taught ) on Saturday 1st July. We hope that through both challenges we can raise a lot of money for ` Team Evie` a charity that provides help to sick children and their families in Cumbria who face similar challenges to those Evie faced in her all too short life.
Please help us to help Team Evie.
