Story

I'll be cycling from the west coast to the east coast in one day, tackling 150 miles through three of England's National Parks.

The ride will take us through a stunning 150 mile with 4500m of ascent road ride from the mountainous Western Lake District, through the Yorkshire Dales, across the flat Vale of York and finally the Northern Valleys of the North York Moors, finishing by the sea in Whitby.

Every year in the UK 2,400 children are diagnosed with cancer and we are passionate about helping all these families along this difficult journey.

Physical activity and exercise is recognised as one of the most effective ways of improving physical and mental health and wellbeing for children being treated for cancer and beyond. CFC promote cycling as it is an excellent form of physical activity - low impact, accessible, outdoor, sociable and fun!

Since 2005 we have helped 9,000 children by providing them with new lightweight bikes and specially adapted trikes, to enable them to get outside, get active and have much some much needed fun!
