Campaign to raise money for the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank
Christopher Newport's Center for Community Engagement is excited!! For the 17th year, CNU students, faculty, and staff join together to support the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank and our neighbors in need throughout the Greater Peninsula.

Story

Hampton Roads has seen up to a 37% increase in food insecurity due to the impacts of inflation, rising food costs, and greater demand. Now more than ever our foodbanks are in need of additional support. One in 9 Virginians struggle with hunger across Hampton Roads.

Join us as we help support those in our local community. We are accepting canned and non-perishable items, as well as monetary donations. Your donation provides fresh produce, meat, and dairy which cannot be donated. No donation is too big or too small! For every dollar donated, we can provide three healthy meals to our community.
