Story

May is EDS awareness month. As many of you might know I suffer from hEDS (Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). It is a genetic condition that effects connective tissue and defects in the bodies collagen, which is the glue that hold you together.

This month I am raising awareness for this condition by doing a cold water dip with dawnstalkers in penarth on the 28/05/23 where I plan on exceeding my personal best of 30minutes and staying in for 1hour! I am hoping to raise £200 and if I reach this target my dad has promised to finally join me!

People who suffer from EDS or HSD can have fluctuating symptoms. They may look "OK" and be active one day and have a symptom flare the next. Living with chronic illness can be unpredictable.
