Every year more than 8000 people in Norfolk and Waveney are told the news that they have cancer, and many more are living with the effects every day.

I am taking part in the Norfolk Marathon 2024 and raising money for Big C to help them improve the lives of local people affected by cancer. Big C's work focuses on four key areas - supporting people affected by cancer, funding world-class local research, providing vital medical equipment and facilities in the county's main hospitals and educating local people about cancer for the future.

This will be my first marathon at 62 years old. I'm delighted to be doing it for Big C and appreciate your support and encouragement.
