Climb with Caleb 2025

I have been selected to participate in Washington's National Park Fund's (WNPF) Climb for a Cause in 2025. I will be joining a guided climbing up Mt. Rainier [Tahoma] (14,411') in July 2025 - guided by International Mountain Guides. The funds we raise beyond the climb cost will directly support critical park projects in Mount Rainier, North Cascades, and Olympic National Parks. 🌄
I am honored to be fundraising for Washington's National Park Fund - whose mission is to raise funds to preserve and enhance the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and recreational opportunities of Washington’s national parks so that they remain vibrant, thriving ecosystems and cherished destinations for future generations.
Family and friends that know me understand how much Washington's national parks mean to me as I enjoy hiking, backpacking, and skiing.
The moment I knew I wanted to move to Washington state was after a camping trip to Lake Kachess where we passed through Snoqualmie pass and I got a glimpse of how beautiful the mountains in Washington state can be.
In the last 10 years I have climbed and summited many mountains with the most notable being Mt St. Helens (8,363'), Mt Thielsen (9,184'), Mt Mcloughlin (9,493'), Mt Adams (12,276'), and Mt Shasta (14,180').
With the climb coming in July I plan on training by going on runs and hiking a local trail called "Mailbox Peak". This hike has an elevation gain of 4,100' and is an ideal hike for training for Mt Tahoma. I also plan on climbing Mt Baker (10,786') and Mt Hood (11,249') (if the conditions permit) in preparation for my climb.
As family and friends may also know I am getting married in late June 2025. This gives a whole new meaning to the song "Ain't No Mountain High Enough". I am so happy that my soon-to-be wife approves of my mission and I'm excited for Mt Tahoma to be the first mountain that I summit as a married man.
If you have read this far into my message bless your heart.
