Story
July 5th 2023 marks 5 years since we lost our beloved Ali. He was my best friend but also a son, a brother, an uncle and overall amazing individual, who impacted many peoples lives in such a positive way.
Last year I attempted the UK 3 peaks challenge with my best friend Harry Parslow, and unfortunately due to Yellow Weather warnings and 70mph winds, we were unable to complete the challenge, and fell short by only completing Ben Nevis and Scafell, missing out on Snowdon due to time.
However, everything happens for a reason, and we do difficult things to raise meaningful amounts of money for these amazing causes and charities.
I am not a quitter, and the three mountains are still there to be tackled. I'm also hoping by tackling the challenge on Ali's birthday (August 20th), he will be looking down on me and hopefully give a helping hand when needed.
The total raised and donated by everyone over these last 5 years has amassed to £6760 (which is incredible), so I have set the ambitious target of £3250 on this milestone, to bring the total raised to £10,000. I really believe we can do it so as always, thanks so much for all your donations and lets do this in honour of our friend Ali.
