Story
Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.
Training is now well underway for the team as we attempt to push ourselves to the very limit by taking on the Three Peaks Challenge.
The team is made up of... Dan Mitchell, Hannah Mills, Gus Quigley, Paul McManus, Ashley Orbell, Alex Stewart, Jack Kingsley
This involves hiking up the three tallest Mountains in the UK. Starting in Scotland at Ben Nevis, which at, 1,344 metres, or 4,409 ft is the tallest of the three. From there we will drive south into the Lake District where we climb Scafell Pike (978 m, 3,209 ft). Finishing off in Wales climbing Mount Snowdon, standing at no less than 1,085 m, 3,560 ft.
The group will set off on 8th June 2024 at 7am with the aim of raising money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Pancreatic Cancer is one of the deadliest forms of Cancer. Unfortunately my Dad was diagnosed in 2022. Unfortunately on December 14th 2023, My Dad lost his fight and sadly passed away. My dad was a fighter and had an incredible support system filled with Love. I am so proud to be his son. He was a great man, always putting others first, jumping at a chance to help others.
Challenging ourselves to the three Peaks is the perfect choice to help raise money for Pancreatic cancer Research, as he was very much into his fitness and he him self loved a challenge. The charity has the power to helps many more people, but is reliant on donations. Please help us by sponsoring us as much or as little as you can.
