I'm Marching for Men!
This June I’ll be taking on a lifesaving walk towards a better future for men.
Your donation can make a huge difference to the 1 in 8 men who will get prostate cancer. It could help fund lifesaving research and provide vital support services to men and their families who are navigating this disease.
My Story
last October I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, now at first I was told if you are to get a cancer this is the one to get 😉 because it’s the easiest to control/cure. But in November after a few scans I was told that I had stage 4 cancer and it had spread to my bones, my pelvis, spine and a few of my rib bones, I thought well that sucks 🤷🏾♂️
At first I wasn’t going to tell anyone apart from close family and a couple of my closest friends, but my man Roy gave me a good telling off and said I can’t do that, people need to know.
So typing this out isn’t easy, most of you know I’m a very private person, love my photography and just try to stay happy and bring happiness to people around me.
So to help myself get on with things I thought best way to deal with this is to be some sort of voice to tell guys to go and get tested, some I have spoken to already and others know that I’m coming for you 😊 ladies you can help as well by telling your husband, boyfriend, dad, brother any male over 45 yes 45.
1 in 5 are likely to get this form of cancer.
So guys please read up, speak to your doctor, get a PSA test and don’t worry about the finger up the bum, the time to worry is if you feel both the doctors hands on your shoulder.
Love to you all and please take care xx 🙏🏾❤️
Prostate cancer is one of the most survivable cancers there is, if you catch it at an early stage. If you’re over 50, if you’re Black, or if your dad or brother had it, you’re at higher risk.
Share our 30 second risk checker today, the earlier it's found, the easier it is to treat.
