Ive decided for my 3rd and final marathon I'd raise funds and awareness to something close to my heart. The Leeds Fund supports the vital services provided by Community Organisations which make Leeds a wonderful, enriched place full of opportunities for everyone. The Leeds Fund grants tackle social issues and inequalities which may otherwise go unaddressed.

Things are hard right now.

- 24% of people in Leeds are living in poverty

- 35% of children in Leeds are living in poverty

- 21% of low-income households in the UK have gone without both heating and eating properly

- 18% of households in Leeds are fuel poor

Things are tough for everyone, but for those in greatest need it is catastrophic, more and more people are turning to their local Community Organisations for support.

Your support will enable Leeds Community Foundation to give out more grants to Community Organisations, making sure people get the help they need when they need it the most and at the same time spur me on through those gruelling 26 miles!

Together, we can be a lifeline for communities in Leeds.
