Supporting free breakfast for school children (no sausage rolls...)

We are once again taking part in the Samworth Challenge (our eighth time !) and this year we’re raising money for our charity of the year, the Greggs Breakfast Club – a flagship programme for The Greggs Foundation.

Its network of more than 900 Breakfast Clubs run all over the UK, helping to feed more than 62,000 pupils every day. We’ve been working with Greggs for more than twenty years – but supporting the Breakfast Club is incredibly meaningful as you can see the impact it has on local children.

We’re taking a hands on approach to our charity of the year, with the Clegg Food Projects team visiting Highbank Primary and Nursery School – one of the schools supported by the initiative – in February to help serve breakfast to students. We’d therefore really appreciate any donation you can spare!

The Samworth Challenge 2024

The Clegg team have been taking part in the Samworth Challenge for more than 15 years. It is a triathlon style team event, with participants navigating across to various checkpoints over mountains, lakes and through rivers.

We have entered two teams for the event and hope to smash our target! If you’re able to donate then we’d be very grateful.
