In honour of World Day against Trafficking in Persons on July 30th, over the next 7 days I will run 50k to raise crucial support for STOP THE TRAFFIK who work tirelessly to prevent vulnerable people from being exploited.

The 2024 theme of World Day against Trafficking in Persons is "leave no child behind in the fight against human trafficking."

Over 50 million people are enslaved and trafficked every year. 1 in 3 are children.

Unfortunately, this crime is on the rise, and climate change, conflict, and crises around the world continue to raise risk for vulnerable people. When we see people in need, traffickers see an opportunity to make profit, and they make over $500 billion in profit annually.

STOP THE TRAFFIK (STT) has a solution. Through data-driven prevention, STT can stop exploitation before it happens, build resilient communities, and protect vulnerable people from harm. On average, STOP THE TRAFFIK help prevent 8 people a day from being exploited. Together, we can help turn 8 into 80, and truly disrupt this crime.

STOP THE TRAFFIK is currently launching a programme to prevent child criminal exploitation in the UK, and all funding will go to expanding the reach and impact of this programme.
