Story
OK Music School was set up 10 years ago and is teaching 76 children and young people with additional needs, who are often excluded from mainstream music activities, to play a musical instrument or sing and perform in public concerts, gaining confidence and self-esteem.
On Saturday 7 October, I will be singing a short programme in the OK Music Marathon to help raise funds for the school.
I am delighted to be joined by Chris Britton who will be accompanying me on the piano, and Rowan (almost 9) who started learning the piano last year and will be playing a couple of pieces:
Rowan Aitken (piano):
Beach Calypso / Ode to Joy
Clarinda Chan (soprano) & Chris Britton (piano):
An Die Musik / O Mio Babbino Caro / Smoke Gets in Your Eyes /
A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square
Please do support this wonderful charity. Thank you!
