The estimated number of people directly bereaved by suicide each year is around 34,000.

I am taking on the 34k Challenge for Suicide&Co, with a fundraising target of £1000, so that together we can raise £34,000 to help Suicide&Co to continue to achieve their mission of supporting individuals bereaved by suicide, and provide people with counselling sessions through Suicide&Co's Counselling Service.

I am doing this in memory of my Dad - Alan, who passed away in August 2022. I would love to turn my experience of his loss into a positive and help others who are also working through this type of grief.

I haven’t quite decided full details however it will definitely include walking and maybe some running and a bit of cycling (my Dad loved cycling) in a peaceful and happy place for me.
