Story
After spending 15 years working in the domiciliary care sector I had the pleasure of working alongside Myton Hospices on many occasions when cure and care was no longer an option.
If you are a family or friend caring for someone coming to the end of their life it is incredibly difficult to manage the conflicting emotions of love, grief, fear and guilt. Myton Hospices provide invaluable support services both to those at the end of their life and their families and carers.
Last year Myton helped 1500 people and their loved ones through the hardest time of their life. To continue these services they need to raise £10.5 million in 2024 - lets get them closer!
I have witnessed first-hand how this truly makes a difference and would love to raise enough money for them to replace a hospice bed at one of their sites.
Through 2024 I will undertake 4 challenges that take me out of my comfort zone, the first one being a triathlon in April and in July I will attempt 3 UK capital cities in 24 hours on my scooter. Watch this space for the final 2!
