Story
I'm taking part in the Dementia UK November knitting challenge to raise money in memory of my nan who passed away earlier this year.
My nan had so much love and kindness to share, and encouraged us to share that love and compassion to our families, friends & communities. For that reason, I will be crocheting baby hats as part of the challenge and donating them to the Birmingham women's hospital.
I understand that in the lead up to Christmas money is tight, but if you are able to donate a small amount it would really mean so much to me 😊
Thank you for reading!
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.
