Story

Lily and I are raising money for the Lister McMillan cancer centre (LMCC) a cause very close to our hearts ❤️ not least, as we both currently work in the Pharmacy Aseptic unit making chemotherapy doses for LMCC patients.

Grandy was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in 2005, he regularly attended appointments at LMCC and thanks to the amazing staff fought the disease for over 16 years, allowing us all to make the most treasured memories with him before he passed away in January 2021.

Grandy was my Hero with a heart of gold, and I miss him deeply everyday ♥️

Lily’s Nan was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2019 and sadly passed away in March 2019 ♥️ I truly wish I could have met her she sounded like a truly wonderful lady ♥️

We have many family and friends that have fought, won and lost against cancer. We are doing this for each and everyone of you, and to say thank you to LMCC for the humbling work you do everyday, we want to provide the funds to be able to do something special for their patients ♥️

I will abseil down 11 floors of Lister Hospital for Grandy, my Hero, because without him my life would never have been so full. I am so proud to have been able to call him my Grandad, a true fighter until the end ♥️

Lily let’s do this!! ♥️♥️
