Story
Comedian Kevin Day has been a celebrity supporter of The Lily Foundation for as long as we can remember. This September he’ll be taking on an incredible charity challenge to once again show his support for us and raise funds to help fight mitochondrial disease.
In a capital challenge involving his first love, football, Kevin will be walking from Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium to Selhurst Park, the home of his beloved Crystal Palace, stopping off at eleven other London football stadiums along the way. He’ll be covering around 56 miles over three days from 17th-19th September – that’s between 18 and 20 miles per day!
Kevin’s taking on this football-ground feat right in the middle of World Mitochondrial Disease Week, so this is a great opportunity for us to raise awareness as well as raising money to help everyone affected by mitochondrial disease.
