We have over 80 funds to support, enhance & improve patient care

Story

Three orthoptists whose patients will benefit from this fundraiser are facing their fears and throwing themselves out of a plane on the 3rd August 2024. Please support us if you can to help towards this great cause.

We are currently raising money to buy an Optos machine, which is an advanced state of the art eye scanner that produces wider images of the thin layer of tissue at the back of the eye (retina). This can be used for adults and children of all ages to make diagnosis quicker and less invasive particularly for young children.

Benefits include:

High quality images

Earlier identification of eye disease and potentially life threatening diseases resulting in more timely and successful treatment to reduce the risks to sight and health.

Quick and easy to perform (both eyes in less than 30 seconds)

Improved clinic flow (this is vital in a children's clinic to reduce patient and parent anxiety)

Thank you :-)
