Story
Hello everyone,
I'm excited and nervous, in equal measure, to be venturing into the world of long distance shenanigans, and will be walking The Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge 50km, on 22nd June 2024 for charity. The route is from Cirencester to Wotton-under-Edge.
It will most definitely be a challenge for me! But also an opportunity, with your support, to help make a difference in the lives of those affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
It's personal too. I am doing this for my brother, Graham, who for a while now has been living with this disease, and all that it brings with it.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA) charity focuses on improving access to care, conducting vital research, and advocating for people living with or impacted by MND in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Although there is currently no cure for MND, symptoms can be managed to help individuals achieve the best possible quality of life.
By sponsoring me on this journey, you can help support the MNDA's mission. Any contribution will go directly towards providing essential care and support for those affected by this devastating disease.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure, your details are safe - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, JustGiving will send your money directly to the MNDA.
Please support if you can, either with some encouraging words when I am walking (for hours!!) or by donating some money to this great cause, or both 🙂.
A huge THANK YOU from me for your support!
