Back in the game for PROSTATE CANCER UK!

Bath 50 Ultra Challenge 2025 · 29 March 2025 ·
This will be my first ultra challenge since the Thames Bridges Walk in 2023 - when it was the hottest day of the year!
After a couple of tough years, after losing my partner in crime/walking buddy/ best mate Louise, I had lost my walking mojo, so 2024 has been quiet on the ultra walking front.
But I have decided to dust off my walking boots, pick up my battered old back pack and get back out there, get some steps in and raise some money for Prostate Cancer UK - a charity I have been supporting since my Dad passed away 8 years ago.
This March I will be walking 29km around Bath - I am hoping I will complete it in under 7 hours, but as I say - I am out of practice!
The 29km starts at Bath Racecourse, the anticlockwise loop heads down past the Royal Crescent, and east along the River Avon trail to join the Limestone Link. It’s up and into the countryside to pick up the famous Cotswold Way, and it’s around and back to the Racecourse!
But I am also signed up for a 300km virtual challenge in the new year to get some motivation and I may sign up to maybe one or two more later in the year if I get 'the bug' again!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and reading this - anything you can spare would be very appreciated to help me reach my goal of £400.
