1 in 6 children have a diagnosable mental health condition which impacts their wellbeing and can have an adverse effect on their educational outcome and their future adult mental health. 50% of adults with a mental health condition first experienced symptoms before the age of 14 and there is high correlation between school exclusion and mental health issues. Place2Be works with children to change these statistics through early invention in schools.
