Run to the Sea 50k Ultramarathon · 5 October 2024

We provide critical care to patients in need.

Story

On 29th July this year, my sister in law, Helen and her husband were involved in a serious road traffic collision which resulted in Helen being transported by air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital. Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance together with the team at the hospital saved Helen’s life for which we will forever be grateful. Helen still has a long way to go with her recovery but there is no doubt that if it wasn’t for DSAA and the hospital team she wouldn’t be with us today.

On 5th October this year, I will be taking part in my first ultramarathon, Run to the Sea Bournemouth 50k. I have chosen to run in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. If you would like to sponsor me to raise money for this very worthy cause please donate.
