Story

**update**

Our mum sadly lost her battle on 30th June 2024. Mary fought hard to the end being cared for in St Andrew's Hospice with us by her side. We would love to raise £1000 for every day Mary was cared for by the loving staff at the hospice.

Our target is now £60,000

We are grateful for all the donations so far and ask that instead of flowers please add to Mary's page. She was one in a million, loved by many

Eternally grateful for the support

Claire and Fiona 💔

Our mum, known to many in our community as Mrs Brown, is currently in St Andrews Hospice - getting the best of care after a recent pancreatic cancer diagnosis. We are hopeful to get her off oxygen, her symptoms managed and home soon.

She was still volunteering at Boys Brigade and YAMS Storytime up until Easter this year. Being so ill, so quickly, is a shock to her and to all of us.

We are very grateful for the support shown to the family this past month, especially after the sudden passing of her brother and our Uncle Jim.

If you would like to help, Mary doesn't need a thing other than your constant prayers. Perhaps a donation to St Andrews hospice with a message to her would be much appreciated. She loves to hear of her teaching days and what her ex pupils are doing now. Updates on the kids at BB and YAMS Storytime would be great for her to read too. She has her phone with her to receive messages.

Thanks for all of your messages, love and support Claire and Fiona x
