Cotswolds Mighty Hike: Team Road to Recovery
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
On 19th July 2025, We are challenging ourselves to take on the Cotswolds Mighty Hike marathon to help raise money for people living with cancer.
Claire, Jonathan and Liz are determined to enjoy the fabulous cotswolds scenery and walk 26 miles for this brilliant charity.
We are walking for James and celebrating his "road to recovery" after a gruelling 8 months of intensive treatment for cancer. It has been a challenging time for all our family and friends who have supported us through this illness.
We want to give thanks to them, and show our support for Macmillan who were by our side all the way. Their website has been a lifeline for us and the information, stories and blogs have been invaluable to our understanding of the disease and how to cope with the treatment and the changes to the future after recovery.
We would be so grateful if you would help us to reach our goal. This provides people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.
There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from people like you.
Thank you!
