Story

Hello lovely, thank you for visiting my page.

On July 19, 2025, I’ll be taking a thrilling leap of faith by abseiling Coventry Cathedral to raise funds for Coventry and Warwickshire Mind, a charity close to my heart. This challenge is in memory of Dad, who passed away last October, after many years living with dementia.

Mental health matters, and together we can make a difference! Your generous donations will go towards the Mind Wellington Gardens Wellbeing Hub, Coventry, as a contribution to their garden projects for 2025. A keen environmentalist, Dad loved planting trees, shrubs, flowers and growing veg so this would have pleased him no end. A calm, safe, outdoor space to watch nature or carry out activities helps provide vital support and resources for local people in need of mental wellbeing support. Join me in honouring Dad’s life while also promoting mental wellness for our local communities. My heartfelt thank you for any support you can afford! If you can’t give, please consider sharing my link.

PS: Attached are photos of Dad and I - one of them taken in front of the avocado tree he planted as a young boy some 75 years ago.
