The Royal National Institute of Blind people

Every day, 250 people in the UK start to lose their sight. Many people won't get any practical or emotional support when they need it most. We want to change that.

It costs just £250 for someone with sight loss to attend an RNIB Living Well with Sight Loss course. These courses allow attendees to get valuable local information and support, meet others in similar situations, and learn practical skills. Your fundraising will help ensure that no one faces sight loss alone.

I am running for this charity as I have sight issues myself with my Diabetes and retinopathy but I would hope that if in the case I lose my sight, I would have the support needed to continue to live a good life.

I have friends with vision problems and sight loss. It’s terrifying to think this could happen to anyone. Whether it’s through being born blind or having a medical condition that causes blindness early or later in life, there should be help and support for everyone.
