102,000 km in aid of Action for Children - we need your help!

In 2022, Action for Children supported 102,000 children and families in their children's centres across the UK.

To help raise awareness of their incredible work, and to support our fundraising for Action for Children this year, we‘ll be taking on a Civica challenge and we need your help!

Throughout September, Civica colleagues across the UK will be challenging themselves to reach a collective goal of 102,000 km with a huge range of activities from Walking, running, cycling, swimming, paddleboarding, skating and many others you can think of!

Right now, over 4 million children live in poverty across the UK. And with the impact of the cost of living crisis hitting home, they're even more vulnerable. Tonight, many will go to sleep hungry. Some won't even have a warm bed to climb into or a safe space to wake up in.

Action for Children make sure children have the basics - warm clothes, hot meals and a proper bed. They can help them recover from abuse and neglect, and put support in place for families to protect against it happening. And can offer the right mental health support, so children thrive.
