Story
East Dunbartonshire Provost Gillian Renwick and Depute Provost Colette McDiarmid will soon be walking over hot coals to raise money for Epilepsy Scotland.
On Saturday 23 March, the daring duo will be taking part in a Firewalk at Epilepsy Scotland at Govan Road, Glasgow.
Epilepsy Scotland works with people living with epilepsy to ensure that their voice is heard. Around 58,000 people in Scotland live with epilepsy and the charity supports people with this common serious neurological condition, their families, carers and employers.
People living with epilepsy have a right to be free from stigma and discrimination, have access to high quality medical, social, educational, support and information services, be valued and included in society and determine their own way of life.
If you would like to support Provost Renwick and Depute Provost McDiarmid raise funds for this worthwhile cause you can do so via this Just Giving page. Any contributions will be much appreciated and will help to ensure people living with epilepsy have access to the vital services Epilepsy Scotland provides.
