Story
*Deferred*
Sadly, following advice from my GP and physio, I find myself having to defer my place in this year's London Marathon. Despite working with a physiotherapist for ongoing IT Band syndrome these past few months, recent flare ups in training runs have shown that there is more work to be done and I have been instructed to stop all running for the forseeable future. Obvsiouly, it was quite a blow to have to accept this but the charity has been very understanding and have confirmed my place in 2025.
Your support and donations have meant the world to me and these contributions will now be directed towards my efforts in next year's London Marathon, as I continue to work towards my goal of crossing the finish line. Thank you for understanding.

From occasional ParkRunner to soon-to-be Marathon runner, I figured it was time for an epic challenge so I’ll be taking to the streets of London next April for the TCS LONDON MARATHON 2024 all for a good cause.
I’ll be running for Starlight, a children’s charity committed to supporting children’s play during their hospital stay. Read more about the charity below and please consider donating. Thank you.
Life in hospital isn’t easy, especially when you’re young. Suddenly, you find yourself in a strange and lonely place full of unfamiliar sights and sounds. In donating to the London Marathon you are directly helping children to cope with serious illness by giving them tools to manage these times when they need it most. Not only this, but you're also helping to support their siblings and parents by providing vital funds to provide them with funding family breaks and away days, giving them a chance to make comforting, life lasting memories together, no matter what the future may bring. From each and every one of them - THANK YOU!
